Czech Mates

Stafford Sinfonia performs two works inspired by Czechia - Antonín Dvořák's "Czech Suite" and Mozart's "Prague" symphony, alongside a performance of Weber's Bassoon Concerto in F, played by renowned bassoonist Laurence Perkins in the work's 200th anniversary year.

Titan

Stafford Sinfonia performs a new version of Mahler's "Titan" Symphony No 1, specially produced for Stafford Sinfonia by Music Director Jack Lovell-Huckle, alongside a delightful suite by Amy Beach, and begins with ​Mozart's delightful overture to his opera La Clemenza di Tito.

Back with a Bang!

Stafford Sinfonia returns to live performances with a concert programme featuring Handel's Music for the Royal Fireworks and Haydn's "Drumroll" Symphony, along with Beethoven's dramatic "Coriolan" Overture and a little-known gem by composer Emilie Mayer.
